Not pink but brown sugar

Guess what Fredriks surprise was!!??!! Yep, my very own, long wished for, blog mini pc!

Actually, though I've said it here a few times that I wished for a pink one, I took the brown one! My thinking is that I'm going to order a skin for it that goes in brown and pink and then even get a carrier for it in pink. Perfectly me! I'm usually a black and brown kind of person who loves to accent in pinks and purples and I kept up the same habbit.

When we got home we held up some wine and as a thank you I made a great dinner for all of us.
Gabriel helped take some pictures:

(I can't believe how fat I am right now...ush)

(fucking hell, the pics wont go in and soon I'm throwing this thing out the window, pms as I am)

(finally)

If you look close you can see my dark brown Acer:)

This weeks illnesses by the way, well no stomach flu for me but today I've had fever and a head cold. I've been going on the asperin diet all day, hope it doesn't get worse!
Time to go play with my new toy:)

Making babies or buying puppies?

That's what people seem to think I'm doing as soon as I have a secret, so cute. But so wrong this time.

Something is in the air though. My hubby told me last night to be ready when he gets off work to go somewhere. He wont tell me where we are going and I have no idea what to wear or dress the boys in.
Exciting!!
We just talked yesterday about our aniversary and I basically said lets just forget about it this year. He's out of town, things have been more than hectic and I just felt we can take it huge when we hit the 10year point instead. He said at the time that he hadn't planned for it either but than this came up last night. Wonder what it is?

Check out INDRAS new toy! Isn't it the cutest you ever saw?

Anyways, Noah asleep and coffee ready, time to relax and then do something with my hair, maybe even a little lip gloss today:)

Finally!

Woooohoooo a positive insert. Bet you guys thought it was never coming again didn't you? Well fooooleed you because today I got some great news. It's definately a start in the right direction for my future plans. Here's a hint or two:

Number 5!

Yes, Andrew is home with a tummy ache today! No vomiting but serious pain. I don't feel any of it yet but, I woke up with a cold.
Would be amazing if something didn't hit me considering how much I've been through this week. Not too bad and if it doesn't get any worse than this I'm ok. If it gets worse I'm in serious serious trouble! F is leaving Sunday come hell or high water and the only thing that will keep him home, maybe, is my death(maybe;))
Nobody bothers to ask mom anymore how she feels either, a huge bunch of "I feel sorry for myself" around here. My needs, my musts, my demands, my job, my this, my that..Blaaaaakkk!
Ok, time to stop complaining, I have something really cute to show you. Since the boys got Guitarr Heroe World Tour they have been polishing up on there musical skills. Andrew is such a cutie and loves the game. I taped him singing, yes I was sneaky but if he knew I was taping him he wouldn't have sung as well. The reason it's so dark is because I'm hiding in my hall and just trying to get the sound. He now knows I taped him and gave permission for me to show it. Sis, listen to how good his english is!! Isn't he the most adorable(=I love youuuuuu)?

Another one bites the dust

Guess who started feeling sick and vomited as soon as he got home? Fredrik! He was out for the count all day and just had a really terrible tummy ache. So, I plan and plan and let everyone know what's going on and boy did it backfire! Gucci's surgery Monday was well planned and of course none of us can help getting sick but there were still two trips planned in the same week for some reason. So guess who leaves again Sunday for 4 days!!! So just home long enough to be sick, and of no help, and leave again. Sorry for the gripe I'm just a little (=alot) overwhelmed right now.
I actually got a break for a date with Gabriel at the mall for some shopping. After about an hour there we get a call and F has a work emergancy and needed to talk. He called again half an hour later and needed me to come home! GAAAHHHH! Of course it's not his fault what's going on, and I don't blame him. Just feeling a bit sorry for myself.

I keep looking around for the hidden camera? This has to be a joke!

Pink flammable fluff

I have a few stories, I haven't taken all this weeks happenings in the right order so I'll just throw some stuff out here.

Sunday- Fredrik and I put this awesome family breakfast together and I lit some candles. Hanging out, talking, drinking coffee and just starting the day. You know how you think things in your head, just flashes of stuff? I remember thinking: I want another peace of toast and I need to watch my arm on the candles. (The bread basket was on the other side of the candles) Well, for some reason I don't even do things cautiously. I throw my arm over the candle and WOOOOFFFFF, flames! On my new pink bathrobe I might add!! I jump crazy fast up out of my seat and start banging my arm against my body with F yelling in the background: Hang on, let me get a look. I'm thinking NO WAY, I'm on fire here for crying out loud! After I jumped around for a few seconds I dared take a look and yes, I had put the fire out, no damage to my skin and the robe is just a little brown. I ask you however, what the heck kind of chemicals is in that thing? It literally just flew up in flames.

Anyways, started thinking Noah is finally better yesterday. A few nightmaresh diaper incidences but fine. Well I got him to bed right before 8pm and went for a cup of tea last night. After about an hour he wakes up and I just know, he's never going to let me leave him so I carry him into the bathroom to brush my teeth and pee. I have to hold him while I pee and guess what? My word let me just say vomit in my panties, socks and everywhere else you can imagine! I start yelling for Kyle because I needed help. Of course all this crap always happens when F is out of town and he's now down south again so what a roller coaster ride! Got me and Noah changed, sorted, dogs out for a quicky with Kyle holding Noah and got us all in bed. Towels all around us just in case. Well Noah after a while just decided to hit everywhere accept the towels! Me, him, bed, pillows and everything! Just got up, started the whole changing process over. Today is only diaper nightmare so we're managing.
I did however have to pick Kyle up early since he had a terrible tummy ache! Here we go again.

Plus of the day: Jake, who for some reason, loves lying on the dogs toy bag and sleep, got to sleep with mommy last night. He loved it! He's a way better cuddler than Rosie too. Both him and Rosie cuddled up in my bed, don't tell daddy!!

Update!

Sorry I didn't get back here again last night, I put some pics out on the forum and just didn't get anymore done. Here come the same pics I put out there.

They never did call about Gucci and by 3 I was worried so I picked up my son from his buss and just headed over there. They have an answering machine on after 12 and you can't get through on the phone. There's an emergancy number but I'm really strict about not abusing things like that. When we got there they apologised, they just hadn't had time to call yet. But everything was ok! The vet even praised him for being such a good and calm boy. I asked him if he was talking about the right dog because Gucci is usually super social in situations like that, a little hyper.

I'll start with the pics why we were waiting for Gucci. As I wrote Noah had serious stomach flu and was worn out and took a nap. Jake did his best to comfort and keep close to him.

Rosie however didn't think he did a good job and decided to show Jake how you really comfort a sick baby.

After we picked up Gucci I got him sorted on the soffa

When he got sorted I cuddled him all up warm and cozy

Last night went great, I gave him some pain medicine before he went to bed. He got to sleep with Kyle all night. Kyle says Gucci gets a permanent place in his bed if he stops marking and peeing because he's a good cuddler.

Another happening yesterday but a FUN one was a package in the post box. Sweet Monica sent Rosies sweater and this time it fits great with a little room to grow. She even got an adorable hair ribbon. Thank you so much Monica!!

Question: My house picture has disapeared for me at the top, do you guys still see it?

Monday, January 26, 2009

Are you kidding me?

I got Gucci off ok and after a little examination and a calming sedative I left him.
They still haven't called and that sort of makes me worry, they said after lunch.

When I got home with Noah guess who vomited all over the floor? You got it, Noah! I'm literally bathing in it today because the poor little guy has thrown up so many times. Towels and clean clothes, keep em coming´!

Pic taken last week when he was cuddling with Kyle.

Rosie the little heffer weighed in at 2,0 kg today!! Where is this going to end?

Time to go

Just having my coffee and getting ready to leave with Gucci. Fredrik took Noah to work with him so I can leave Gucci calmly with no stress. It's always nervous to let them be put to sleep for surgery but Gucci has done it once before and it was fine. Still, a mother hen is always a mother hen and my stomach is in knots.
I'll pick Noah up as soon as I am done and then leave him with F again when it's time to pick Gucci up.

Gucci, still the man!

Soon, not so man;)

Rosie the little shitter, she pooped in our bed last night! Which is really weird because she always wakes me up if she needs to go out. Of course it was F that woke up and found it and then woke me up telling on her. Now he says she's had her last chance in our bed!

Sisters

Last night I got a picture of Rosies sister from her breeder (Pie is staying in the kennel), Oneways Party Pie. They're actually alot alike.

Both are almost 5 months old

We are doing a dog show in two weeks and as you can see, mine stand no where near as good as Pie does. I don't really know what to do so we'll just keep practicing. Jake is terrible at it..if he's left alone he stands like a king though, just not in front of the judges.

Teenagers

This week hasn't all been about the babies(dogs). A huge happening, I'm now a mother of teenagers, plural. Andrew hit the big 13 last Monday. I have no idea how that happend. I mean why are they getting older but not me?

We woke him up early like we do for everybodys birthdays and sang and oppened gifts.

We bought him Guitarr Hereo World Tour, huge mistake! Don't ever buy this for you kids, boyfriends, husbands or whatever. The damn drums drive you crazy! My sons are spoiled and have there own familyroom with a big tv and all there games and all I hear downstairs is the thumping. We have to sett up some boundaries for using the drums, my word.
Andrew on the other hand was super happy because it was exactly what he had wished for.

I took some videos of Andrew singing but I can't find them now so I'll be back when I figure out where they went.

We love you Andrew....even if you've decided not to stay little forever.

A day late and a dollar short

I have some great ideas on making money. I'd probably be super rich by now if I didn't let everyday "must dos" get in my way. Anybody who knows me can tell you I always have a super tip if you're in the market for new clothes, especialy kids clothing, and tons of other things. When I was on maternity leave with Gabriel I even made a great deal of money on my Ebay finds and sold them on here. Anyways, I'm actually spinning on a money-making idea now and I'll get back to you.

What I would like to do is tip you on a great idea that's pretty close to what I've been thinking about for weeks now (not exactly but close).

Maggie is selling off her "has beens". Don't miss your chance to buy new and used beautiful dogwear for a fraction of the price!

How about this Puppia jacket?

Or why not this beautiful, I want it myself, leather carrier?

Testing....

Kyle is fixing banners for my blog in case you want to link to them with a banner. Just testing this whole thing and if it works feel free to take them and use them!!

Click to Visit

It worked, wooohooo. Give us a sec and he's fixing a smaller one too that's better for a side page.

Here it is!!

Click to Visit

Just let me know if you need the code for these!

Don't think my son is a sweetheart, he's bribing me for making these. I now owe him two of his favorite chocolate bars. The little maffia man!!

Jet Setters

Rosie and Jake took a shopping trip yesterday, the one we showed. Well they ended up on the blog of the really sweet store owner. Small To Big has a blog as part of there web shop, and today Jake and Rosie got there own special insert. You can read about there shopping spree HERE

Gucci got to stay at home yesterday with his "brothers". I'm trying to keep him very calm until Monday and his pending surgery. Thay took care of him and he had a good day without shopping stress.

Seriously!

We are very very blessed in our home and almost never sick. None of us. The boys very rarely ever have to miss a day at school or otherwise. I don't know what is going on but some kind of bug has grasped it's claws into us and refuses to let go!

Remember I wrote about everybody getting fever, cough and sore throats one after the other during Christmas break? Then the stomach flu that Gabriel had and even Noah seemd a little off.

Guess who woke up this morning with a sore tummy and has now ran to the toalette about 8-9 times today? Throwing up everything and now just dry heaving? Yep, Gabriel. Poor little guy is really sick this time.

I have been the only one not to get hit with anything. I sure do hope it's not third times a charm in this case. I'll take a bad cold for a week over the violent stomach flu for 24 hours anyday!

Doggy Style

Today it's all about the dogs!

Do you remember when I told you all about Rosie winning this photo contest?
Well we got a package this week from our friend Anna who owns PoshPooches and look at the adorable toy and goodies Rosie won!!

Thank you Anna for our generous gift! xoxoxoxox

Another big happening in doggy world is Monicas generous contest for one of her knitted doggy sweaters. Unfortanetly it's too small for Rosie but if you have a puppy or smaller chihuahua don't miss this beautiful chance!

Go in HERE for your chance to win.

Last but not least for today, I finally mad it to that store I really really wanted to visit in Stockholm. Fredrik and I took a little road trip today and we stopped by Small To Big . Super nice store with a coffee/lunch shop where your dogs are welcome. The lady that runs it was just a pleasure to talk to and buy from. We'll definately be return customers. If you can't make it to Stockholm don't worry, she has a web shop and the quality of the clothes was perfect! Here's a pic of what we bought today.

Trying to Recall

And you said: I think I know how you're feeling
And I replied: I don't think so at all
And then we wouldn't be here
A reuniting cup of coffee, trying to recall

I know God
What have we done to each other and tell me, dear
Where did we go wrong?
And did we grow apart
Or did we just not grow together?
Living our dreams

When you're sleeping on the couch
When love becomes sacrificing
Then I'm not sure it's gonna be
You and me, anymore

And it's time
Tell me what you are thinking and guide me
Where do we go from here?
Do our ways converge
Or do they seperate to nowhere?
Destination unknown

When you're sleeping on the couch
When love becomes sacrificing
Then I'm not sure it's gonna be
You and me, anymore

When you're sleeping on the couch
When love becomes sacrificing
Then I'm not sure it's gonna be
You and me, anymore

When you wish upon a star

The beginning of the year is always a huge celebration time for Fredrik and I. We start Feb. off with our wedding anniversary 2/2. Which by the way, Fredrik is of course going to be out of town for this year!! In Germany, where else?
Being American I love to celebrate Valentines Day on the 14/2 so we always do. Then there's my own birthday at the end of feb. After that we round off everything with Fredriks birthday in the middle of March. I'm huge on making my whole family feel super extra special on there birthdays and they're pretty good about doing the same for me.
When I wish for expensive things I usually get told I'm spoiled but I don't care. It's time to make sure they know exactly what I wish for and here's my little little list;).

Acer, you've seen it before and I still don't have one!

Nintendo DS Lite, pink! Again you've seen it before and I still don't have one!

I stopped getting my nails done when we bought Rosie. I made the decision myself since I just couldn't justify the money when we spent so much on her. I do however really really miss it. It was nice to have nice hands at least.

Then there's two rings on my wish list that have been on it for years. You know Fredrik!;)

Doggy mommy

It's not always easy being a doggy-mommy but I do my best. Jake headed to the vets yesterday for his PL exam(small dogs get there knees checked for Patella) and he did great and got the longed for 0 on both legs. Woohooo! On the other hand his underbite will probably not get any better and I had decided to neuter(kastrera) him at the same time Gucci gets fixed on the 26th. BUT.....
Several people have gotten in touch with me today and think I should wait. Jake really is a great looking chihuahua and maybe his bite will get better anyways. I decided to go ahead and cancel his appointment and wait and see.
Here's a couple of new pics of the babies:

Rock on

Vets with Jake today, knees were perfect but his underbite wont get any better. More on that tomorrow. Today is a day of rock n roll ála Noah.

I was actually taking pics of the dogs lying in the bed behind Noah but he took over realising that he's the cutest, coolest and most ego 1 year old known to man.

Obs!!Obs!! New in the blog! I never really know how to answer comments best, some people answer in there own comment felt and some people answer in others blogs. I've decided I want to of course answer everybody who's kind enough to write to me so from now on check back in!! All answers will be right here in my own blog! So keep up the comments xoxoxoxox

Gift of speach

My son Gabriel has always since he was 6 months and crawled over to the stairs and started saying KaKa, KaKa(Kyle whom had his room upstairs) had the gift of speaking. That child has said the most amazing things for his age and has done so for years.
Today we were really happy campers despite the wind, slush and mud, and took a long walk, about 4km, to Fredriks work. It's a country road but they drive pretty fast so I usually have Gabriel walk in front of me and the dogs to my left side, that way they don't all get tangled into each other. Gabriel drags his feet like most 6 year olds do, and I want to keep up the pace. I finally got tired of telling him to walk faster(seriously he was tip-toaing), and this is our conversation:

ME: Gabriel come on, if you don't start walking faster I'm going to run you over with the stroller soon.

Gabriel: (who stops dead in his tracks and turns around with a look of chock and says:) Mom, would you seriously run your own child over with the stroller???

ME:(laughing like crazy at his facial impressions) Yes I would if you don't get a move on!

After a while we get to a curve that's uphill but cars coming torwards us don't see real well so I told him to hurry and get up the hill and we kept a great pace. Good Job Gabe!! I said when we made it thru the curve. After a while he says "Thank you mom", I'm like for what? He says: For telling me I did a good job.
You'd think the child never heard it but he does, everyday, it was just cute because he really pointed it out hahahaa..he's such a cool guy!

Gucci is killing me

That little shit is pissing all the time now!!! GAH!! I am constantly washing him and changing his peecup. I don't know what is going on with him right now but it's out of control. I am literally counting the hours until his surgery. I have put all my eggs in one basket and it better pay off. I'm thinking he's pretty bored right now, maybe when him and I start back to work it will get better.
Well because of that he can't go with us to our friends house tonight. I just can't trust him. He pees everywhere and definately when we are away. So him and Kyle are staying home and the rest of us are going for dinner and a movie.

Here's a pic of one of the worlds absolute cutest 6 year olds on Christmas Eve

It's not easy

being a baby and taking long cold walks. When you're as little as I am you get to walk a short while on your pretty red leash and then you get a warm ride inside mommies jacket. /Rosie
