Bling Bling

Well, as I wrote before I was away to the doctors yesterday. What a huge difference having insurance, I say it again. My operation was booked for the 10th of March already! Boy did I get nervous but the nice doctor perscribed a sedative for me so I can stay calm the night before and day of surgery.

Brute force

Remember I wrote about being denied on my insurance? Fredrik and my father in law were mad as heck about that and wrote a long letter to the salesman of our insurance. He imediately contacted Fredrik for a meeting. I had even called my doctor and got her to change what she wrote since she was in the wrong. Like any dr. she didn't like me telling her she was wrong and she argued a bit but agreed to write a new referal. Anyways the salesman showed up for the meeting on Tuesday with an approved plan of action! This morning the doctors office called and offered me an appt. with the hand surgeon for today already! I'm sort of nervous, even if it is only a consultation. What will he say?

F¤#%king hell!!! Somebody is marking in my house and I don't know which one of the little shits(yes they hare little shits right now) it is!! I found 4 spots in my hallway tonight because when I saw the first one I took a closer look. That's at night and what I could find! The floors were washed Friday so you do the math. It's not Rosie, that much I know because this is marking not peeing! GGAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!

Enough of the bad stuff, now on to the sweet stuff!
I still haven't emptied my camera so I'll get back to you on the rest of Sundays pics.

Diamonds are a girls best friend

Wow! What a start to my day. My family has really spoiled me! First I couldn't sleep, I'm like a little kid. So I snuck up around 5.30am and took a cup of coffee. F came down around 7 and I said "you don't see me, I'm sleeping" and ran back up to bed. After a while they all came up, candles, singing Happy Birthday, coffee, breakfast, flowers and presents!!

Saved the best for last!
Fredrik has surprised and spoiled me to no end. Look at my beautiful ring! It's a diamond ring in white gold from the designer Chopard! I can't believe it! It's a little small but apparently they only take 1 ex of what they order to the store so I'm welcome to come in and have it sized. I'm going tomorrow!

TSCC

What a party! So much fun! Many compliments on my dinner that I made, the cake Fredrik bought was really good and the company was the best! Everybody in a great mood and alot of laughs.
I got two beautiful buquets of flowers and a beautiful wonderful wished for this for a long time gifts from Fredriks family.
I'm now a member of the TSCC (Thomas Sabo Charm Club)!! I'm so happy about that. Apparently my sister-in-law remembered me walking around at Christmas and looking at the broschure I had went and picked up at the jewelry store and how much I talked about these charms. I'd seen them a couple of years ago and did the same thing than but lost my broschure. I even got an amazing pare of earings to match one of the selected charms.
Now my boys know exactly what I'll be wishing for over the next few years, CHARMS!

(They even remembered my passion for angels and one of the charms is a beautiful angel sitting on a pearl)

Under control!

Giving myself a few minutes with coffee and blogs while Noah is sleeping. Smells like garlic all through my house. I might have gone overboard. I'm half dressed just have to flatten my hair and dinner is halfway done. Pretty good don't ya think?
The table is halfway sett too, I can't sett it all the way because sweet Noah climbs and plays all over everything.
Not really sure about my outfit, feels like I look like an elephant. Might need to rethink. If I keep it maybe I'll show a days outfit on LilyHearts blog.
Last night I saved F from a major cake accident, he's lucky I gnagg hehe. He tried to put the blame back on me but I stopped him in his tracks and he managed to fix it. Little stinker!

That's just some of what I've made today. Sounds delish doesn't it? I'm on a break now but I think it's over soon. For some reason I had the great idea to make homemade pizza tonight so time to start making the dough soon. It's going to be goooooddddd!

Late late late

This week the boys have winterbreak from school. Kyle usually works those to make some extra money. Today F lent him out to me to help around the house for this weekends parties. He'll still get payed the same wages so he was supposed to be at work at 8 am just like every other day. It's 8.15 and I haven't heard a peep from him yet. Not a good start at all!

I do love

that my family and friends want to come. I am telling you however, in 5 years, I wont be home! I'll be in the sun somewhere hot and awesome! My word I'm stressed and worked up so I can't even sleep because my brain wont shut down. Insomnia sucks and I get it all the time!
Back to my american recipes and planning.

Socialized medicine

SUCKS!
I have a huge fear of contacting swedish health care because of several cases of idiots and me being treated poorly. I literally work myself up and it takes weeks for me to call for the simplest thing. Put it this way, Noah was over a year before I ever did my after control from his delivery which you are supposed to do at about 12 weeks after the baby is born.
Anyways, my boss bought us this supposedly great insurance so we could contact private care in Sweden. Guess what!!??!!!?? DENIED!! My stupid, incompetent, too stressed out to listen doctor wrote the wrong info down and now my insurance company thinks I've been poor for longer than I had the insurance. I've been on the phone all afternoon trying to get in touch with this idiot, did she call? NO! So mad right now!

Changes

Things don't always go accordning to plan. We were supposed to go visit a little boy yesterday that will be 5 on Monday. Well his mother called yesterday morning to let us know that the little boys dad (Fredriks brother) had a violent stomach flu(again) and that the party would have to be moved. Her whole family were coming and our family. Her parents home is too small so she thought we'd all meet at the company where there is at least room for all of us. When Fredrik told me about this I decided to give her a call and offer our home. A 5 year old should be able to have a great party! Even if the company is nice it's not the greatest party place.
Anyways we cleaned an fixed things around here and welcomed 20 people (including us) and hade a great time. I even got two buquets of tulips and a pott holder, isn't that sweet?

The small babies got dressed up for the party too. We hardly ever have a chance to use all there cute stuff so yesterday we took the chance!

I forgot to tell, last weekend when we went to the dog show, Fredrik took the boys and Gucci up to the ski/sledding slopes and had a great day. F is however quite the amature and didn't even make sure Gucci had a collar on so he had to make a loop in his leash. Gucci hates the snow really but something tells me he had a great day and he even got to go sledding with the boys. I didn't get any pictures though.

You know

I hate to grocery shop. I love the cabinets being full but I don't want to be the one to fill them. What's for dinner today? I'm a good cook but I do the same boring stuff everyday. I never take the time to check out new recipes and do fun stuff. I have to get better at that.
Todays shopping was a higher level of dislike even

Fredrik was of course in a meeting but he sent one of the men from the mechanics shop to give me a jump:)

Dude, where's my hand?

I've had some trouble with my hands for some time now. They numb, disapear for me. I can't knitt anymore, talking on the phone is a pain and I have to constantly change hands and shake life back into them. They get cold and just really numb. I've suspected carpal tunnel after everything I've read and I have a good friend who had surgery for it. I haven't wanted to go to the doctors because the surgery scares me some, you have to be awake! And getting the stitches out is worse.
Anyways it keeps getting worse and now my hands disapear when I drive, when I'm out with the dogs and stroller and when I read in bed. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with numbness.

I was at the doctors Monday and she gave me a direct referal to the hand surgeon. We'll see what he says but the doctor I saw thought I was a definate surgary case.

I'm so asking for valium for before the surgary and for the day I have to take stitches out, if it comes to this of course. The surgeon might think I should try hand splints first, så we'll see.

Dog Show

I know, I was going to let you know how the show went. As usual it's crazy around here. I did have a great day though and met up with K and L for some shopping and lunch.
Sundays dog show went great! Jake usually sits on his little butt and gets scared and wont walk. I don't know what happend but I guess our training is paying off. He strutted around the ring and did a great job! He came in second place with honours(HP). My pics are really dark so I'll see if I can fix them but I stold some from Emma:)


Rosie did really good too for her first show! She's so pretty. When we walked torwards the audience she'd get scared and try to fight walking there but when we turned around and walked back to the judges table she walked great! Both Rosie and Jake got awesome papers and critcs with them home. Rosie didn't place but we were really proud anyways.

I made it through the wilderness

Guess what!?! It cost a fortune, went against my princibles but made my hubby super happy and that was worth every bit of it! August 9, 2009 we are sitting at Swedens huge outside arena and dancing with Madonna!!



The reason it went against my princibles is because I had to buy the tickets from on of those terrible companies that run and buy up as many tickets that they can then I had to pay triple value on them. On the other hand I now see that since the consert sold out the tickets I bought have dubbeled in price so in the long run I got lucky anyways.

Wooohooooo....dress me up in your looooovveeee!!

Nervous

It's starting to catch up with me. I've baked two bunt cakes, packed our stuff and everything is ready. What if Jake wont walk in the ring again? What if playfull Rosie doesn't walk nice and just jumps around? Well oh well but then we at least know what we need to work on with her!

Other than this it's been an ok day. I tried training Jake and Rosie for there show on Monday and let's just say stress around the poor dog is not good. I need to try some more tomorrow when F is home and can help me so I can do one dog at the time and not one on the show leash and two running next to them hoping to get a candy. So cute.
I checked out our dog magasine and figured I need to get busy, I have about 6 shows that I am going to be in and 3 of them ar serious shows,that count!

Random acts of kindness

I wrote the other day that I thought I was heading down the cold path. A sinus infection. Well it never really broke out and that's good but do you know what was waaaaayyyyy better? The kindness one person showed me. Yesterday when my son brought in the mail there was an envelope to me there. I thought hmmm, I haven't ordered anything.
When I opened it there was a letter and several bags of tea and an ointment. The note explained how good the tea was for driving out a bad cold and the ointment was to help open all your pores to help you breath and for the ache of the cold. Then some fruit tea just because it is good.
Inside were even som coupons for our local hamburger joint so the kids and hubby could go eat and give mom a rest!
I don't "know" Monica more than that I visit her blog and have recieved two of her beautiful knitted sweaters. I do say though, those who know her must be lucky and I'm lucky too. Thank you Monica, such an unselfish act of kindness.



I say "pay it forward" and am going to return the favor to the next person I think needs it. Do the same, we can all make a difference!

This is Noahs christening cakes that his grandmother made for him. Aren't they just adorable and you wouldn't believe how good they were!

I actually think this was a really cute challenge and would love to see all of my friends with blogs do it so I wont write out names but look forward to seeing all of you do it;)

I have alot more to blog about so I'll try to get on with it soon. You won't believe the kindest thing that happend to me today. I was so touched!

Stuck in bed

Now you might think that is pretty comfy and awesome to be stuck in bed but, it's not. F ruined my son! He for some non apparent reason has been lying Noah in our bed and then trying to move him to his room which never works. Well now I have tried putting the little angel to bed, it takes about an hour to get him to sleep and about 45 minutes later he's crying and awake. I have to round up the flock and go up to the bed instead and let him sleep with me. Fredrik broke Noah!! It helps having the new pc but I have no pics on it so I'll show something cute tomorrow.
I'm the kind of person that really needs an hour or two by myself in the evenings, or with just F. Or let me be honest, an hour or two without Noah climbing on me. So this is pretty inconvenient considering F is out of town. Trying to see the plus in all and at least he sleeps pretty good as long as I'm up here and Rosie and Jake are with me. Gucci gets special treatment and complete attention in Kyles room.

New blog is going pretty good I think, I've gotten alot of positiv response to it and as soon as I get into it I'll update it more.

I'm even fighting like mad not to let this sinus infection break out so as usual, full up around here.

7 year itch?

I sure hope not!
7 years ago today Fredrik and I got married. 020202 at 2 o´clock.

I took som pictures of our album with my not so great camera. I know, you shouldn't ruin good photagraphy that way but it's all I could do. Here's some pics of our day.





This next pic is cute, we had chosen such a big album that the photagrapher wasn't sure how to pose us to fill the album. Why she was putting new film in the camera I was fooling around and lifted up my flowers and kissed F. All of a sudden we heard a CLICK in the background. Actually really adorable and we got several photos of us playing around.




This last pic I couldn't get anything decent on. At least you can see how handsome both A and K were, my little men.
