Gardening 101

Well we're off, finally started with our planting. Some of my seeds said to sow right into the ground but since I had the room I went ahead and threw them in the soil inside and we'll see what happens. I'm going to buy some more seeds to sow outside too.

Kyle and I headed to the nursery, look at all we got!

Ok, I'm ready to go!

Kyle's ready too!

So there, the seeds in the bowls needed to soak for 12 hours but they're planted now too.

Noah, the dogs and I just spent a couple hours outside cleaning up some and trying to think things out. Should be alot of fun!

Oh right, want to hear a HUGE disapointment? The super cool sun chairs I wanted to buy from Ikea? The ones that looked like they were big enough for two in the magasine I saw them in? The ones that I had already baught and fixed the whole patio area in my head? Well they were baby size!! I was at Ikea yesterday and I'm so depressed. They would have been perfect if they were the size I thought. If I satt my big rear in one of these babychairs I wouldn't be able to get up!

Oh well, back to the drawing board!

Love is in the air

A D O R A B L E ! ! !

A word to the wise

Don't go overboard on red wine on Friday night if you know you will be alone with your active 1-year old the next day!! My word did I feel terrible yesterday. We made it thru though!
Gabriel, Andrew & I had a date yesterday. We went to the movies to see Marley&Me. I had just finished reading the book and really wanted to see the movie. Maybe not the easiest film for my 6 year old but he somehow got me to promise to go se the new animated allien film next time.

After loads of popcorn and candy F picked us up for our next date. We headed off to L & T and as always, they treat us to the greatest meals! Gulash soup with delicious bread and for desert a mint chocolate cake. We had a layed back wonderful evening, thank you to both T & L.

Today I have yet another date with my oldest son, we're heading off to buy some seeds and stuff. You know, grown up things like planting seeds and gardens. If he makes it home from work in time that is. I'm actually looking forward to it and if I know myself right I'll probably buy 35 different seed sorts and no chance of ever getting all those to grow.

Green fingers

I definately don't have them! In the middle of this terrible snowstorm I'm trying to start my garden project. I'm not really a huge fan of gardening but we have a really big yard and I'd love to get some easy upkeep areas with flowers out there.
I also am trying to figure out how to do an easy upkeep but blooming fence if you will, to keep curious eyes away from our pool area.

I love lavender, and the only thing I know for sure is I'm going to build a pathway of stones down to the creek and plant lavender on each side of it.

I'd love your best tips and sites for Gardening for Dummies please?

A decorations cherry tree is on the wishlist and then we have all the pots we burried in our stonework last fall that we need to plant this year. I have alot to do! I'm hoping that working on this will help me come in shape and give me something to really sink my energy in. Wish me luck!

I did find the cutest loungers at Ikea that I already put on our shoppinglist. I want to buy two of these and then some outside tables and some sheepskins for this one corner of our patio.

Comes in green or red, I want the green ones.

Every coin has two sides

Heads or tails?

My stitches were taken out yesterday

My ring came(had to leave the first one and order one in my size) in and was picked up today

Same day of my surgery, I was home alone at least the first day. Check out my team of nurses

Show time!

Sunday K and I packed the car with 2 dogs, one baby and some really good sandwhiches and chocolate cake! Time for another inoff dog show. Jake did pretty good but it took so long for his turn he was bored and didn't get any ribbons this time. That's ok, time for mommy and him to train some more. Rosie on the other hand did GREAT and got 3 ribbons with her home.

Baby in charge

Rosie and Jake checking out the competition from K's lapp

Rosie just won BIR (Bäst i ras/Best of breed)

Leia was in charge of keeping an eye on Rosies ribbons, she's obviously not taking her job seriously. I might have to talk to the management about this.

Rosie, BIG 3!!! (Bäst i grupp 3/Best of group 3)

That's it, she's fired! she's going back to her job of being the cutest girl of them all at the show!

We had alot of fun and I even got to meet sweet Lina! My camera refuses to take good picks in dark show halls so none of us in action. You'd think I would learn to read the instruction book because I'm sure I could get it to work.

How about some fun!?!

Last Saturday F took the day off(I know, don't faint please) and we decided to take the boys to the big activity playhouse type of place(Lek&Buslandet). Noah the "I can't let my mommy out of my sight" little tike took off and LOVED the place! He climbed, jumped, played in the balls and just had the time of his life! Andrew and Gabriel where happily surprised too.
Here's a few pics of our gang having fun:
I think Noah spent 2 of our 3 hours there in this area

The trampoline was pretty fun

Slush is a must, even for mom!

Here I am

Wow! what a couple of weeks. My hand is healing pretty good I think, despite everything I should say. A couple of my finger tips are still a bit numb so I hope I get the feeling back.
My mother in law has been here for about 10 days. She's been absolutely wonderful and helped around the house with everything. The really bad part is, I needed help with Noah and he refused!! to go to her at all. He screamed anytime I left his sight and climbed on me nonstop. After two weeks I'm a nervous wreck, literally. I don't sleep again and I can't seem to get into any kind of relax mode. I couldn't even go outside the door with my dogs without him standing at it screaming. I'm extremely greatful to my mother in law for all her help, just wished it would have worked out with Noah or that F could have taken him.
Thing is, I said from the get go, it's never going to work!! I knew he would never put up with being in the same house as me and letting somebody else care for him. Did anyone listen? No! Who paid the price? Me!

I have to have my other hand done but I'm waiting until Noah is at daycare. That way I can take care of everything myself.
I don't know how to find any calm but I have to try because I'm starting to get signs of anxiety attacks and I can't have that. I bought a stress off yoga DVD that I have to make myself try and take the time for. Plus it's time to start moving my fat ass, I need to start getting into shape!!

Thank you friends for all of your sweet comments and concerns for me, I'm so thankful for them!

I got some help planting Easter lillies outside, they definately make you smile. If you like them that is(wink to L).

I survived!

Writing with one hand and that works. Let me just say I ended up getting 5!!shots in my hand but it went ok and now I'm sitting here not used to the peace. The huge swelling in my fingers has already gone down quite a bit. Fredrik is going to help me shower tonight, he seems to be looking forward to it hehehe.

Noah cuddled up in my lap for his bottle when we got home. Look at Gucci, he never gets to close to Noahs hands, cuuute!

Little(huge) Mamma

Luv U

Fredrik bought me tulips *love*

About that other thing that has had me upset, well I had a good talk with Anna about it. She hadn't seen what this terrible person had written but had a theory about her. (My good friend L is great about helping me see the other side of things and I've learned to be open for it.)Apparently this girl has been down right mean for years and she thinks people just ignore her. Too bad even the moderators ignore her, she could use a real good life lesson.
Hugely funny and I have to right it in swedish:
En del av vad denna tjejen skrev till mig var: Gås Gås,som vi säger på jobbet(vilket ingen fattar men man förstår det är en förolämpning)
A sa: Surfitta som vi säger här hemma.....hahaha jag skrattade så tårarna sprutade...

I'm waiting

for my chemicaly induced calm to kick in. Should be interesting. I still haven't figured out why I can't move my links and archive back to where it belongs but I haven't really worked on it today. Noah has a really bad cold bless him. Fredrik is finally home and took bedtime procedures today. K was by and fed me lunch, thank you loved friend!
I'm hoping after my nerves settle after my op tomorrow than maybe other things wont seem so disapointing. Maybe I just overreact or maybe I just have more insight.
Take care xoxoxoxox

By the way

I tend not to write on here when Fredrik is in and out of town just because I don't want unwanted people to know when I'm home alone. Anyways he left again Friday night to head down south and then to Germany. He'll be home tomorrow and I miss him like crazy. I'm sort of nervous about Tuesday and more so how everything is going to go with Noah after that. I'm sure it will all be fine, but even better when he gets home!

Civil Courage?

Is that even what we call it in english. Well anyways, there isn't hardly any of it in this country. This is my place and I'm about to gripe, you all know where the door is if it doesn't suit you.

I'm the kind of person who would help anybody if I only can, stick up for my friends with all my might if needed. It doesn't matter to me if you're my friend only thru the internet or in real life. If you're my friend then you are my friend, period.

Let's just say after an attack that I just can't get out of my head even though this person is an immature, bitter bitter person, I now know that the same friends I have already backed up when needed on this forum that I hang on just wont do the same. I decided not to take any notice of what this person wrote to me because seriously, when does that ever work? People with absolutely no self distance and whom are so bitter just can't be reasoned with. This person writes on our dog forum all the time and about 60% of it is bitter, down right mean comments. Apparently she's friends with the moderators and is allowed to act any way she wants. Funny thing is she even showed the rules to another person but doesn't appear to know(or care) that they apply to her too.

You know what though, I'm the kind of person that looks back and takes it as a life lesson. Bad thing is, I'm less willing to help others, defend others and show civil courage. So sorry, fix your own crap, I wont be defending people anytime soon.

Puussst, I needed some release!

Now, I have to figure out what the heck I'm doing with this blog design! One step forward and two back...

I'm trying

to figure things out for myself so I don't have to be dependant on other people helping me but it's not working! Shit shit shit! My good friend L found the link for me to fix up my blog and I'm getting there but the last puzzel piece is not falling into place. Who am I kidding, the lasti million puzzel pieces!

Frustrating!!

Deep breaths..that's all I need!

Proof

As I told you, everything is a possible helping hand in reaching higher levels. This little adorable, inocent buss was bought for Noahs first birthday. Katarina thought it was cute, and it is. But!! next week when K is helping me with Noah: I'm sending the buss with him!!!

hehehehe:):)

Poop Machine

I know, you probably don't really care to hear this but Noah is a serious pooping machine. 3 times a day at lest! Often 4-5 times is more like it. On a realy good day it's like 6-7. He's killing me!
We've put locks on just about every singel cubbard and drawer in the house, but you better believe he knows the ones we don't have anything on. Every toy he can find is a potential ladder in his quest to climb higher and higher! Take that and my laundry/ironing pile into consideration when I say: RED WINE!!!

Don't let his beautiful brown eyes fool you, he's the devil in disguise!

Dog show

Yesterday Katarina and I headed off to Katrineholm for an inoff dog show! It was COLD inside the horse stable but we managed!

Here we just arrived and I'm getting situated with all my junk! K's keeping herself and the little ones warm.

More on how the show went later, I have some great pics. For now here's good looking Gucci showing off a collar I'm thinking about selling.
