Fall break

It's fall break around here so the boys have been off of school all week. It's been great and a pain at the same time;)
Here's some of what we've been up to:

Noah the little thief is constantly in this drawer stealing cookies and crackers and then making a mess all over the place with them. Not anymore! Locks were put on everything last night

Finally, Noah got a big boy bed! We only bought a boxspring mattress right now, so he doesn't fall out. After he gets the hang of this we are buying a frame. We would love to have him in his crib but he hates it and this way we can easily lye down with him.

It's not PMS it's YOU!

Boy was I in a bad mood yesterday. On fire! Today I know why, and if I'm honest I knew why yesterday too.

We bought Noah his new bed last night, him and Fredrik slept in his room in his new bed but Noah only went for it for a couple of hours. Around 1.30 am they had to come in to me because Noah was so upset.

Then at 2.14 am a little Miss Lily-Rose woke up her mommy for a pee break. DAMN it was cold! Then again at around 6.30 am. I don't mind taking her out but I am a little afraid of the dark*shamed*.


I went up and put Noah to sleep in his new big boy bed and guess what!? He's been asleep for over an hour!! woohoo:) I didn't make any coffee but I took the oppurtunity for Rosie to come sleep next to mommy, she needed a nap too. She doesn't care for sleeping on my chest too much but cuddles up next to my legs or hips. She definately knows my voice, when I come in or down she instantly jumps up and runs to me with her little cute tail wagging.

I think I'm getting an idea about having twins. The past three days has been making sure I'm on top of Noah at all times, which is ok because if I sitt on the floor he kind of hangs on me. Then when Rosie sleeps I take her out of Jake and Guccis way so she can get some real peace and quiet. Yesterday for a short short time both Rosie and Noah slept. I almost made it thru a quick cup of coffee before Noah woke up.

That aside, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this little girl! She is such a sweetie and a really tough little thing. She takes off when we are outside so I have had to start leash training alot earlier than I had planned on. She has no fear! Kyle has a hard time if she wines at night in her puppypen so he apparently let her sleep with him, very cute but something tells me that's going to be regreted. He's down south working today and tomorrow so I'm guessing Rosie might make it to my bed.

Another thing, this past weekend wasn't only Rosie, even if that was the biggest happening. Noahs grandparents and family were here to celebrate him. So here's some adorable pics of that.

He has however fallen on it once so it's a little out of shape, but he still loves it.


Fredriks mom has a tradition that when the grandbabies turn one she makes them there very own cake that they get. Gabriel went to town on his, whole fists full of cake. Noah took it a little bit careful, he never got close to Gabriels enthusiasm but he was so darn cute.

What a day! I am so in love that words can not describe! My own little girl. Something tells me she's going to be spoiled like no other. I can't help it, I just go and kiss and cuddle on her all the time!

And after finally agreeing on her name, I'm sorry Sofie love but we changed it again. Lily-Rose but we are calling her mostly Rosie!

40? Who me?

My father-in-law, tried to be funny today. He FAILED! Big time! We had a talk about only buying gifts for each other when it's bigs or semi big birthdays (you know, 20,25,30,35,40 and so on). He pipes in and says, who's turn is it next. Mine I said, so this conversation doesn't do any damage to my next birthday at least(turn 35).
He says: Are you going to be 40 next time Lori? A little evil little grin on his face knowing damn well I am not anywhere close to that!

Seriously I almost cried, I'm having a little bit of a crisis about alot of things right now.

Boy do I feel better

Finally I got some good sleep! This past week has been hell! Noah has been on me like crazy and when he finally lets me be I just lye there and toss and turn. Last night I slept good and hard.
Busy day, Gabriel is going to a birthday party, Noah is having his party(Fredriks family is coming) and Andrew and I are heading to the big candy store to buy Saturday candy.



Oh, and about my choices of girlie names: The odds are kind of against me that I'll ever have a human daughter so my little puppy daughter is getting my favorite girlie names;)

I'm back on the Lily/Lilly/Lillie-Rose thing again. There's a secret reason for it that I'll tell you about later. Then really, Sofie is Sofie-girl, I can't substitute that angel can I?

From veggies to milk in 2 seconds flat!

My word! What a week! Fredrik said: I check your blog everyday but you haven't been writing much lately. WHAT!?! This is a sure sign that that man does not listen to me at all, no surprise;)
I'm doing my best to get all of this months "must do's" done before Sofie-Girl moves home here. Thing is, F was away of course down south, a meeting at Kyles school, statistics due in for work and bills to be paid. On top of that Noah had to get his shots, 2 of them! Poor guy, he got major fever and had alot of pain in his legs so I've given him childrens asperin and kept an eye on him. Not to mention on Saturday F's family is coming to celebrate Noah so we have to clean.

Tonight I thought, ok, got to get groceries so we don't have to stress with everyone else tomorrow but I didn't get away until 6pm. Fredrik met us there. I know that Noah falls apart between 6.30-7 pm and needs to get to bed. Fredrik met me running around and just throwing things in the cart. He kept asking me why I was running and I kept saying, Noah, he's going to get cranky any second. He's like, well I'm here, take it easy. Noah made it thru, but only just, wheeeewwwww.

Gucci=Diva

Gucci and I have started an obedience class. Last night was the second time. The first time we didn't train too much outside but mostly theory. Last night however it was more outside training and Gucci is just too spoiled. I thought I did real good in putting his treats together. He didn't eat before class and I took the extra good meaty treats but no no no! He's not doing anything he doesn't want to do, treat or no treat. He prefered trying to get the other dogs attention. I'm seriously taking in with some servere methods next time! Meatballs! No mercy!

And another thing, seriously, how naive am I on a scale? I took it for granted that this class was indoors. It's at a high school that part of the kids go to for farming. Stalls, horses, pastures, and all kinds of things like that. I really thought if we booked a class in October, at 7:15 pm in rainy season it would at least be in the inside riding stalls for horses or something. Gucci, true diva style, hates wet, cold and rain! Now I defo think it's good training for him to learn to cope with weather conditions as such, but what about me? ;)

I had a talk

My niece/goddaughter Sofie and I talked a bit yesterday. She's a really shy little angel but sometimes I get a few words out of her. Like the last time we talked we decided on a teaparty next time we see each other. Fancy cups and of course fancy hatts. It appears that when Sofie plays with her babydolls they always get the name Sofia. When I talk to Sofie I always say "How you doing Sofie-Girl" and when I ask about her "How's my Sofie-girl doing".

Yesterday Sofie didn't really want to talk, she's not feeling well bless her, but a few words were exchanged. Sofie and I decided the new baby will be called Sofie-Girl. I asked her if I should call her Sofia like she calls her babiess but no, she liked Sofie-Girl better. So my new baby girl will be called Sofie-Girl with american twang. Fredrik says, he doesn't think he can yell for Sofie-Girl to come so he'll just use Sofie, which we probably all will and save the girl party for really calling for her;)

2007/10/16

This time last year, at 11.11 am a little boy was born. I was so full of hope and let me tell you, this year has been one of the two years of HELL that I've had. I hope, hope hope, that third years the charm! Anyways! We have been partying all day long. My big one year old, he has had such a wonderful day! Laughing, eating, playing and opening loads of gifts!

Thank you my wonderful wonderful friends whom have been here today to make his day special. I really am so greatfull that I've met you all!

Name time! I have a whole bunch of names that I love for this precious little creature but have now narrowed it down.
Names we love but decided against:
Vilja- another little girl on the same forum I'm on just got that name.
Gracie-Belle was actually our first choice but Fredrik knows it's my "daughters" name and doesn't think I should give up hope just yet.
Shiloh- Fredrik hated it, thought it sounded weird.

So here's the names you get to choose from:
Lilly-Rose Beautiful but the y sounds a little weird in swedish
Lillie-Rose same thing but rings better I think, not sure, what do you think?

And go on and give any other suggestions you might have, I love unusual.

Desperately seeking 30something

I know, very inactive. There's a few reasons why but mostly I'm just not feeling very well. I think it's my stomach ulcer acting up. My stomach has been killing me since Saturday and not getting any better. I need to get to the pharmacy and try and get something for it. With all the stress of my brother(who is way better btw) and then this other thing going on*huge smiles* it's been a little hectic!

I took some really cute pics of my boys and Noah out playing yesterday, just going to download them.

Tommorrow is a BIG day, we are going to visit a little someone<3<3<3<3 Hope all goes well!

This incredible longing, I have to! It found me, sucked me in and gets stronger everyday! I just have to tell F and flirt like mad. Wish me luck! Can't tell you now, but it's not a baby!

Alot going on right now

Fredriks of course out traveling again, been alot of that lately and going to be more and more. I'm ok with that as long as Noah's sleep habbits stay good. Last night however he was back to square one with wanting to breastfeed all night!!

My brother is still very seriously ill, on the ventilater still. Doctors don't know what the ground issues are but are convinced it's neurological and are debating sending him to UofM(Universaty of Michigan) hospital from Kentucky where he's at now. Of course that helps our family out alot because they all live in Michigan(30mins from the hospital) but makes it alot harder for his wife and two daughters(whom of course would come to Michigan with him). UofM is just so world known for it's expertise so we'll see what was decided. He possibly was sent yesterday already. I still don't know if I should go home or not. Problem is, there's no "if he get's worse", that means he passed on, that's how sick he is. Just taking it one phone call at a time.

Anyways, other than that all is good, all my boys are doing great! Noah is walking like crazy, laughing all the time and more happy. Gabriel is doing great in school and with his sports. Andrew same there, sports sports sports! Kyle has started taking photagraphy serious and we'll see how that goes. He wants a new camera for christmas:)

Gucci is starting an obedience class in a couple of weeks, I'm really looking forward to that. Last but not least, here's a pic of Jake in his favorite cozy position every evening when Noah goes to bed and him, Gucci and I cuddle in the soffa and I check out things on my laptop.
