Impossible but true

Just when I though I had oiled the last of our outdoor furniture we found another sett in the garage that I'm going to put on our balcony. You know what that means? Today I'm sanding and oiling! Again!
Moving sand piles, vacuuming the pool, chasing Noah and whatever, I love summer!

Braces, shows and shopping

Saturdays show went GREAT!!! I had a coffee disaster on my camera but I'll try and get it all sorted so I can let you know how it went and show some pics soon!

Yesterday Andrew had his top layer of braces put on. He's so cute! Next time they'll put the bottom layer on as well. I took a few pics with my cell phone but I forgot how to move the pics over to my pc without having to get a cable and I'm too tired to try. I'll just wait for F to help me when he gets home or tomorrow maybe.

Otherwise it's planting, painting, pool filling and garage projects taking my time as usual but to be honest I love it! Noah and I are outside all day everyday if the weather is nice. Days like today thought I just catch up on the laundry.

Today I got a perfect tip from my sister and after just a few minutes of google I found it! We were thinking of keeping Noah in a lifejacket all summer but this might just be exactly what we need

Home owner

One thing is for sure, there's always something that needs to be done.
I was going to do a few inserts and show pics but if I'm honest I'm just too worn out. Dog show tomorrow and I'm going to bed.
Noah and I keep busy during the days, gardening, painting, oiling, cleaning and everyting else that needs to be done outside.
One things for sure, if it doesn't stop blowing outside soon I'm probably going to have a breakdown, a very serious one. I hate the damnd wind!!!! It's crazy here and has been the past couple of years!!

We did get the honour of babysitting little Leia this week, she's such a sweetie. Both her and Noah were sick so they were easy easy. Even if her fever had me worried she was just a joy.

Two sides of the coin

As a mother of both teenagers and small children things swing differently all the time!

Yesterday Kyle finally got his longly awaited drivers permitt and satt here waiting all evening for Fredrik to come home(he worked late) so they could take his first real drive on the open road. Scarry I know!
Anyways when F came home I was up putting the smaller boys to bed. When they got home I asked if they thought to take pictures. Of course they didn't!!! I said to Kyle, you know this is just as important to me as your first steps were.

Today I'm taking pictures and you all will pretend it's the first time he drove away, deal?

Around here we are busy busy busy. Hubby and I spent the whole weekend outside with Gabriel and Noah(the older boys were at there dads house). Oiling my teak furniture and painting in the garage. We're using every spare moment to work out there because I'm so tired of the garage! I want to start building our deck on the two sides of the pool! That's our next big project.

We grilled all weekend long and just had a great few days

This Friday is the big day for my sister in law and I have the cutest pair of shoes, what the heck am I going to wear with them? I could do with something new but I don't know if I have the energy, going to take a look in my closet first.

Last but not least: it is serious work having a bitch in heat! Right now Rosies in high heat so Jake is a little high strung. Actually surprised at how well it's going it's just alot of work keeping them apart. Tomorrow Fredriks taking Jake with him to work so he can get a day off...the little horndog!
He loves the spring anyways...he rolls around like this alot in the grass. Isn't he the cutest thing you ever saw?

Rasmus

Yesterday afternoon my inlaws had to make a decision that I know was so difficult to make. They had to put there beloved Rasmus to sleep, let him wander over Rainbow Bridge.
Apparently Rasmus had tumors in his legs and a possible tumor at the edge of his tail. Rasmus hated the vets and any care would have meant several trips to the vets.
He was a handsome old man of 12 years and had lived a full and happy life.



Let me tell you this was one spoiled bearded collie who was a huge bully. He barked and drove the neighbors crazy(me too haha), nudged your arm when you were drinking coffee because he was so spoiled he got directly from the table and wouldn't let you alone until you gave him a cookie. He was the true diva of the house and he knew it. He was even loyal, loving and loved to jump on you. Especially me, he loved me. He would get crazy jealous if my mother in law held one of her grandkids and she just avoided doing it if we were alone because he'd get so mad. At the same time, I never told him no, I always gave him that cookie and I apparently let my mother in law start suspecting when her first grandbaby was on the way because I told Rasmus his breath stunk and she realised I'd never complained about that before and was always letting Rasmus get close for a cuddle. Her having had 4 kids herself new that if I was sensitive to smell that maybe there was a baby on the way.


Rasmus has been apart of my life every since I met Fredrik. Always around, at work, and everywhere my inlaws went. My father in law is crushed and we send our condolences to them both.

Sleep well little man....we'll miss you!

My sweet little girl

What a week it's been for my little Rosie. She's in heat, on day 10 today(a season is 21 days). She's been doing the weirdest thing. I've heard some bitches can mark when they're in heat but she doesn't do that thank god. On the other hand, and this might be my fault, when I capture her if she's snuck out of the livingroom she pees a bit. I might yelp or get a little stressed and she might feel it.
She's even become a super mommie's girl. Rosie loves everybody and loves attention like any girl does. Right now though she wont go to anyone else and if people try to tell her hello she curls around my legs.



To top it all off she had a trip to the vets today. Time to have her puppy teeth pulled. They put her to sleep and somehow, I had no idea, they found 12!!! puppy teeth to pull!
Rosie however got loads of praise from the nurses. They said usually when they have small dogs, especially chihuahuas, they snap and bark and just aren't fun but Rosie was a charmer and a complete joy to have around today! That's my girl! She's been resting all day and is now lying here next to me in the couch. I love you Rosie girl xoxoxoxox

My oldest son is a funny guy. When he's not in his "I'm a teenager with a bad attitude" mood he's the funniest person I know.
He's also pretty bold. He's been talking about the auditions for IDOL for a few months now. Yeah yeah, I say. Anyways, it was time for the Stockholm auditions yesterday and guess who was there? Kyle! He took the buss at about 3 am early Saturday morning and at about 6 am I got a text "I'm here in Stockholm, SHIT! It's huge!" hahaha.



He was supposed to have a friend with him but the friend overslept so he was there by himself. It was a really hot day and he had no water! He felt pretty ill after it all was over and I'm guessing it's a bit lonely without any friends with you. Next year (yeah he's doing it again next year he says) he's going to make sure he has a few friends with him. That way you can get each other water, take pee breaks and have a great time.


He didn't make it but he was cool with that and according to him he loved the experience! Isn't he the coolest kid?

After many screaming matches I finally got some of my flowers in the ground. The seeds I planted can't be put out yet but maybe in a couple of weeks. Flowers are expensive! I still haven't bought half of all I need. I'm hoping the anuals will at least come back next year.

Busy busy as usual! Tomorrow Noah and I are taking a break in all the musts and heading to a town about an hour from here to watch a dog show. I'm not showing this time since I knew Fredrik had to work, so we're just heading to cheer!

Figured out today that if my sister in law and I don't take care of a bachlorette party than my other sister in law might not get one! We had no idea so we're on it now! Of course she has to have a fun girls party. Anna always, always always is great about doing for others and we are of course going to do the same for her big day! Since none of her friends or others who are in the wedding had any plans we got it all moving so planning meeting Monday night and that should be alot of fun.

Rosie is in heat by the way! Poor gang here have no idea why I'm keeping them apart. I might be a bit high strung about the whole thing because everytime she sneaks out of the livingroom I yell "Rosie NO!!" and when I go to bring her back she tinkles a little. It's going pretty good though but I do think Jake misses his buddy Rosie.

Where oh where

can my baby be?

Where do my days go? Everything is so intensive with Noah so I just don't get a minute over. I've been working in my garden and it's one step forward and two steps back but still alot of fun.

I am however back in the cell world again! Woohoo! Fredrik bought me a new phone. I had my breeders class all weekend and actually it was ok being away without a phone. You get used to it but of course I love having my new one. I think I'm getting a bit too old for all this tech stuff though. So many functions and I don't even have the time to learn them. The camera is awesome!

It's Official!

Finally, it's ready and can be used! I'll tell you what I mean tomorrow.

Today has been yet another Noah-testing-his-mothers-non-existing-patience day. Oh My Goodness!

I threw him in the car early and headed grocery shopping. After that we ran in to the nursery(gardening store) and he of course fell asleep despite me trying to get him not to. When we got home he woke up and was PISSED OFF! After an hour of screaming (managed to get his lunch in him despite the screaming) I got him dressed and we headed outside.
There he was an angel and played and just hung out. I had to chase him away from the pool a few times but other than that it was great. I dug for two hours and planted flowers. I was so happy with my work and feeling like I got a great work out.
We had to take the older boys to the train and he fell asleep again. Woke up after 30 minutes in yet another bad mood! My word, he screamed for almost 2 hours. I just had to ignore him finally. Fredrik was an hour late too! I just don't know what to do with him. Fredrik has been up for over an hour now trying to get him to sleep. He's still screaming!
Well there's todays gripe. I don't even have the energy to find any pics.

Tomorrow is gonna be good. I'm flying the coop and starting the first course of my breeders course. I packed my school bag and am ready! Two whole days of all about me! Great!

Noah broke my cellphone! Used it as a baseball and just threw it across the room. It's my fault really, I shouldn't let him play with it. Anybody who knows Noah knows that some things you just don't argue with him about. Anyways! I can't answer calls or text messages for now, just so you guys know!

Well Saturday the sun was shining and it was beautiful outside! My niece Alexandra came up on Thursday and spent the weekend with us and I headed off to pick up Katarina, Leia and Kyles girlfriend Fanny to spend Easter Eve with us.

Good Friday

Hi everyone! Sorry about the silence but this has been a busy weekend and we've just enjoyed the sun!
I have several inserts to do but I'll start with Friday:

As you know we headed up to Stockholm, up at 4am and left at 5.15am. We had a great day and alot of fun but it didn't go well for Jake at all. He got a 3 in quality which I really didn't expect (1 is the best and 3 is pretty bad). It was his under bite and as soon as the judge saw it he didn't even look at Jake. Just gave some stupid critics and that was it. On the other hand at least 4-5 people asked me if I loan him out for breeding! Apparently the underbite doesn't scare them.

Rosie did better and got good critic but didn't place in the final but came in the middle of about 13 girls. I got some really good tips from Rosies breeder and I'm definately going to take them into consideration. How about some pictures instead?

After this pic I had to leave ringside, everytime Rosie saw me she lost her concentration. So I just went and checked out other chirings and let K and R do there stuff. They did such a great job!! What a day!

I don't know if it's the dog show tomorrow or some kind of flu but my stomach has been in knots since last Saturday. I feel almost pregnant, sleepy, sick to my stomach and headaches all day everyday. But I'm not pregnant...I think I'm fighting this flu crap off.

Anyways! We're really nervous here tonight and I just hope it goes well. I don't expect miracles just good critics on the little ones. I'll be more than happy with that!

Stockholm, here we come! My alarm is sett for 4 am! My word!

Plus and Minus

Need I say it again? What a day!

First the boys and I got up and started cleaning and getting all the plants and lamps out of the windows because the window guy came and washed ALL my windows, he counted them to 53 windows! My word! That's the days plus, the windows are shining and he did a great job!

Noah, my little monkey, as said before he climbs on EVERYTHNG! I'm constantly running after him and getting him off the weirdest things. Anyways the kitchen chairs are usually ok, he's got them down pretty good. Remember I told you he fell yesterday outside and chipped two teeth? Well today he was sitting at the table with Gabriel eating grapes when I hear a big crash. The poor guy just fell out of the chair! I ran in and find his mouth bleeding some and now his two front teeth were really chipped and the one looked terrible. I made a call to the dentist who said they could see him at 2pm. When we got there they took a loot and wanted to get pictures but thought he was too young. They are sure the tooth will go black and die and it was a bit loose. The hope is that he can keep the tooth in because it's better for his adult tooth but apparently these kind of things are prone to infection and I have to keep a close eye on. If it' gets the least bit pussy they'll sedate him and pull it for him.

Andrew is my daredevil son, I have spent alot of time at the er with him having body parts x-rayed. Something tells me Noah is taking after him. What do you think?
